Fresh Farmhouse Finish – Lyndeborough Edition

We were contacted by a client to complete an exterior painting project in Lyndeborough NH, which included a farmhouse, garage, and a newly renovated detached barn. The goal was to maintain the classic farm aesthetic using a dark burgundy body color with white trim. Proper preparation was essential for this project. We sanded the wood surfaces to remove debris, caulked seams on the renovated barn as well as the house and garage, and spot-primed areas where needed to ensure proper adhesion and durability.

Working with deep red tones requires careful application, as imperfections or flashing can easily appear if the finish is not done correctly. Our team applied two coats of the burgundy body color and two coats of the white trim, delivering a smooth, uniform finish with no visible marks while preserving the timeless farmhouse look.
